PMC Gets Record Tax Collections

The efforts taken in by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has reaped huge benefits. Recently the municipal corporation managed to collect Rs 8.59 crore on the last day which is the highest daily income for the year 2015-16. This year the civic bodies has taken many steps to promote owners of flats in Pune like owners of Pimple Saudagar property to pay taxes on time. Earlier the owners of flat for sale in Pune were offered discount on property tax payment if they management to pay taxes till May 31 2015. Also online payment facility was introduced to help the owners of flats in Pune for sale who do not live in the city.

Apart from this the civic body had also sent officials to big township so that people living in Flats in Pune for Sale like Pimple Saudagar flats could easily pay property taxes. Apart from this owners of Flat for Sale in Pune like owners of  Pimple Saudagar property can pay their taxes at the 15 divisional offices of the civic body which are scattered all over the city between 10am and 4pm. 

The municipal corporation has collected a property tax of Rs 522 crore whereas last year the civic authority had just collected Rs 420 crore. The PMC was also giving concessions to housing societies as well as individual owners of flats in Pune who have implemented two eco-friendly techniques, like rainwater harvesting, vermi composting or solar heating techniques . A 5% tax rebate is given to owners of flats in Pune if any one technique is implemented and 10% rebate on flats in Pune for Sale like Pimple Saudagar flats if two techniques are implemented. 

The city has 7.8 lakh properties, including flat for sale in Pune , factory buildings, office buildings, open plots, Pimple Sudagar flats and shops.
